Currently, Teton County does not have the facilities to hold prisoners. As a result, detainees are typically housed in neighboring counties such as Madison and Jefferson. Jail Services In Idaho
Idaho's VINE is a free automated victim notification service offered by the State of Idaho and sponsored by the Idaho Sheriff's Association. It provides information about the custody status of offenders in Idaho prisons and jails.
Register
If the offender is in custody, you can register to receive notifications. If registering a phone number, you will be asked to create a four-digit personal identification number (PIN) that will be used to confirm that the call was received. Make sure your PIN is easy to remember.
Register through the VINE website or by calling 866-984-6343 to receive automated messages by telephone or email when a particular offender is released, transferred, or escapes.
Your Safety
If you feel you are in danger, call 911 immediately.
Do not rely solely on VINE for your safety. If you feel that you may be at risk, take precautions as if the offender has already been released.
Receive Emergency Notifications
The CodeRED system allows the County 911 Center to rapidly notify residents and businesses by telephone, text, and email.
Uses
CodeRED will be used to send critical communications, from evacuation notices to missing child alerts.
How it Works
In the event of an emergency, an operator in the 911 Center can identify the affected neighborhood or region of the County and record a message that describes the situation and recommends the protective actions residents should take.
CodeRED will automatically call out to all listed telephone numbers within that geographic area and deliver the recorded message. If phone lines are busy, the system will attempt to redial those numbers a predetermined number of times to make contact.
Residents may also opt in to receiving text messages, cell phone calls, and e-mail notifications.
If an answering machine picks up the call, the emergency message will be left on the machine.
